Veronica At Dallas Rocks Benefit
Our Danny Fulgencio happened by the Dallas Rocks benefit Saturday night at Union Station, where Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons gathered quite the hodgepodge of celebrities for his African empowerment-through-education fundraiser: Smokey Robinson (who performed), Barbara Bush and Jenna Bush-Hager, Veronica Webb, former Houston Rocket Dikembe Mutombo, ex Duncanville High star-turned-Denver Bronco Ray Crockett and Joseph Simmons -- you know, the man who put the "Run" in Run-D.M.C. Danny brought back this slide show; it's almost like being there

Parker, who spearheaded the rally, came tardy to the party due to travel issues, but we saw a number of other celebs/rally participants mingling: Eva La Rue from CSI: Miami (``I'm the taller Eva,'' she joked);Tichina Arnold from the now-dead Everybody Hates Chris; former supermodel Veronica Webb; Sex and the City hunk Gilles Marini; and Crank: High Voltage star Bai Ling.

Tuesday at Ze Cafe, Cle de Peau Beaute cosmetics held a cocktail reception to benefit More Gardens as well as showcase their Spring 2010 goodies. Lovers of the beauty line including Veronica Webb, Serena Nikkhah, Annie Churchill,Bonnie Morrison, Jules Kirby, Dani Stahl, were at the event to push a great cause: beauty.
